Germany is one of the strongest countries in the world. Over the years it has proved over and over that it is an independent power that is capable of administers itself without external help.
Once again, Germany during the last economic crises has proven that nothing can stop here and it was among the countries that were able to overcome this period in a very fast time and to also declare economical increase.
As a statute Germany is a republic that has its fundaments on democracy.
One of the most important periods in the politics of Germany was the period before the wall of Berlin fall and after this. The battle for power was held between the Greens and the Reds. In 1996 the Greens have won the elections, but finally there was a coalition between the two parties.
This coalition had its good parts and its bad parts and there were a lot of political disputes.
In 2002 the elections for the parliaments had been won by the greens that during the years of power had made a lot of political modifications especially in the work field that did not pleased everybody.
the most important role that the government of Germany has is to ensure and maintain the best level of social welfare for all the people of the country and to make sure that the business that is made within the country is successful and beneficial both for the people that are conducting the business but also in the best interest of the country.
The way politics is done in this country is in the best interest of the citizen and this is observed in the way in which the parties are sharing the governmental power. This is way the government is formed by a coalition, which strongly shows that indeed there is democracy.
This way of ruling the country is both good but it also has its flows. The model of sharing the power is the Westminster model, but there are the times when the groups are not thinking alike concerning a situation, which makes the final decision to be hard to get and which blocks them sometimes for important periods of time.
The other issues that the Germany politics is facing are to make sure that the level of live is the same for both west and East Germans. It is known that the East Germans are poor compared to the west ones. Also they are trying to integrate the minorities and the migrants of this country.
